Busy, busy, busy !!!

Well it has been a busy week, I have my foot operated on and have been looked after magnificently by my gorgeous husband! And had the opportunity to do a serious amount of sewing! My patchwork quilt is coming in nicely!!
We have had our second night @Lulu's in Stoke Road, Gosport and it was a roaring success, we have a very talented bunch of ladies making use of the space provided and saving up their daily count of calories for the sumptuous cake Lu makes! Next week looks like a patchwork themed week with many ladies purchasing our craft packs in a variety of colours. Looking forward to then!

I have been doodling all evening and catching up with CSI! So here is another creation from my sketchbook!📖🎨

New logo for Eat Cake and Create!

I decided to try and create my own logo for eat cake and create! Had a couple of doodles and came up with the picture attached! Really enjoyed dusting off the fine tipped pen and colours again!

Mother and daughter collaboration!

The saying "great minds think a like" can never be truer in a creative atmosphere! Mum and I came up with the piece of silver in the shape of a bird box and a little swallow, it hangs beautifully on the delicate chain with the bird flying towards the sweet little box!

Eat Cake and Create Craft Packs

Well the bits and bobs ordered ready for our first craft night are all coming together now, which is very exciting!! They are going to be small projects for young and old! We have a variety of ages attending with an enormous amount of knowledge! So please let me know if you are coming too!

I have to keep myself busy or I go insane so pass the time I have mini projects and so far this year I have created quite a number of things! But today I have bought a little sewing box that needs a little bit of TLC, so keep tracks on how it's going!

Make Me Happy Events

Mum and I are trying to get some exciting events going in our local community with the first event being held in Bay House School in November. We are looking for businesses in our local community to bring their experience and wealth of knowledge to parents and grandparents in our area for the dreaded prospect of the end of year prom! We know it can be a headache organising these things, well let us take some of the heat from you and bring all of the dreams our children have for the perfect prom under one roof!

Very excited about the new business cards produced on moo.com! It's all starting to come together now! Craft packs will be filling the house before I know it! And my husband will be pulling his hair out! Tomorrows job- get a few more tea rooms on board! Exciting times ahead! Wish me luck!
